Krafton posts “record-high cumulative” performance in Q3 2025

Krafton has reported a “record-high cumulative” performance in its Q3 2025 financial report, citing “record-high cumulative performance” thanks to “stronger IP competitiveness in India and its “AI-first company transition”.

Revenue was up 21% year-on-year to 870.6 billion KRW ($604.2 million), with operating profit also up by 7.5% to 348.8 billion KRW ($241.9 million) across the same period. It took the company’s year-to-date operating profit past KRW 1 trillion for the first time.

The company said it saw “solid performance across all its business segments, including PC, mobile, console, and others,” with “PC platforms set[ing] new records in quarterly revenue with year-over-year growth reaching 29%, driven by the steady popularity of PUBG: Battlegrounds.”

“This momentum was driven by a steady cycle of buzz and engagement sparked by high-profile collaborations with global K-pop sensations aespa and G-DRAGON, as well as French luxury automaker Bugatti,” it added.

It similarly saw “growth momentum” with mobile, which it attributes to “diversified content such as the Transformers-themed mode and X-Suit progressive skins” and “robust live service operations.” Battlegrounds Mobile India also saw a new-high in quarterly revenue which Krafton says comes via “localized strategies to enhance user experience, including India-exclusive skins and service expansion.”

Looking ahead, Krafton intends to further accelerate growth with its PUBG IP, and says it will “continue to offer cultural experiences beyond gaming by continuing IP collaborations and sharing content within the IP franchise to generate synergy across titles.” It’s also working to evolve PUBG into PUBG 2.0, expanding its modes, user-generated content, and upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.

Krafton also intends taking over direct publishing of Real Cricket 24 after it acquired a controlling stake in Nautilus Mobile in March.

Last week, Subnautica 2 and PUBG publisher Krafton announced it was positioning itself as an “AI-first company.” The publisher said it would be “prioritizing AI as a central and primary means of problem-solving” and “fostering change in individuals and organisations, increasing company-wide productivity, and accelerating mid- to long-term corporate value growth.”
