Ghost of Yōtei is the biggest first-party launch for PlayStation in Europe since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, according to GSD data.
As The Game Business reports, the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima debuted at No.2 on the GSD European unit sales and revenue charts (for the week ending October 5, 2025).
Ghost of Yōtei’s sales were “in-line with its predecessor” for both digital and physical versions.
Sucker Punch Productions’ latest title, which launched on October 2, captivated critics with its story and setting, as you can discover in our critical consensus here.
EA Sports FC 26 took the top spot, which it maintained for three weeks. However, sales are currently down 62% week-on-week.
The Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 double pack for Nintendo Switch rounded out the Top Three.
TGB estimated it sold “around a quarter” of what the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection achieved in 2020, based on physical sales data.
Looking at the rest of the Top Ten for unit sales, the majority were games included in the Steam Autumn Sale such as Doom Eternal and Far Cry Primal.
This pushed newer titles like Silent Hill F and Sonic Racing CrossWorlds down to the Top 20. However, Silent Hill F broke into the Top Ten for revenue sales.
