NCsoft is set to acquire a 70% stake in Berlin-based mobile developer JustPlay for $202 million.
The deal is expected to close on April 30, 2026. It is part of the Korean firm’s expansion into the casual mobile market.
JustPlay was founded in 2020 by former AppLovin executives and operates over 40 casual mobile titles. 70% of its revenue comes from North America.
“JustPlay is demonstrating exceptional growth and strong potential, with revenue projected to increase 88% year-over-year in 2026,” said NCsoft co-CEO Byungmoo Park.
“Through this acquisition, we will secure a core platform for our global mobile casual business and focus on building an ecosystem that maximises synergy with our mobile casual studios both in Korea and internationally.”
Last December, NCsoft made a majority investment in Singapore-based mobile publisher Indygo, valued at $103.8 million.
The firm also acquired Vietnam-based casual games developer Lihuhu and Seoul-based mobile studio Springcomes.
NCsoft launched its casual games unit in August 2025, led by Tripledot and Outfit7 veteran Anel Ceman.
