Attendance for DevGamm 2025 broke European records earlier this month, reaching 1,122 visitors from 53 countries.
Almost half of visitors (44%) were from Portugal, while the UK, Poland, and Spain “were also strongly represented,” organisers said.
The Lisbon Conference featured over 75 speakers from developers including Xbox, Sandfall Interactive, Warhorse Studios, 11 Bit Studios, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Unity, Ubisoft, Scopely, and more.
It also featured the “largest games showcase in DevGamm’s history, presenting more than 80 games across both days.”
The conference culminated with the DevGamm Awards, which saw YCJY Games’ Keep Driving take home the Grand Prize of $20,000.
The Madeira Games Summit was the first “high-level event” hosted by DevGamm, which saw 120 industry professionals from companies including Epic Games, Unreal Engine, 2K Games, Bossa Games, EA, Krafton, Unity, and more.
The event featured speeches and fireside chats with the likes of Ustwo Games CEO Maria Sayans, Colossal Order CEO Mariina Hallikainen, and FunPlus chief business officer Chris Petrovic, hosted by GamesIndustry.biz features editor Lewis Packwood.
Looking ahead, DevGamm has announced three events for 2026: Dubai in the spring, Gdańsk in June, and Lisbon in November.
